Heirloom Beet Flatbread

Standard 1.950 KD

80g flatbread made with heirloom ruby beets. Approximately 3 slices.

The beets go into the dough, which is where the deep red colour comes from — no dye involved. Slightly earthier and sweeter than our original, and just as foldable.

Baked in our dedicated zero-gluten kitchen.

Good to know.

Our kitchen

  • Dedicated and zero-gluten — no shared ovens, no shared flour, no shared air.
  • No refined sugar and no seed oils in anything we make.

Keeping it

  • Paper or a bread bin rather than plastic, which softens the crust. It freezes well — slice first, then toast from frozen.

Questions.

How should I store it?

Paper bag or a bread bin, not plastic — plastic traps moisture and softens the crust. It freezes well: slice it first, then toast straight from frozen.

Is it safe if I am celiac?

It is baked in our dedicated zero-gluten kitchen — a separate space with no shared ovens, no shared air and no shared flour dust. Check the Contains list above for other allergens, and talk to your doctor about what is right for you.

Is this sourdough?

No. Our loaves are yeasted rather than naturally leavened, and we would rather say so than borrow a word that sells better.

When will it arrive?

We deliver across Kuwait between 2 and 10 PM. Bakery items are baked to order, so allow up to a week for larger or repeat orders.

Can I warm it up?

Yes — three minutes in a hot oven brings the crust back. Avoid the microwave, which makes it chewy.
