Traditionally Fermented Green Sauerkraut

Standard 3.700 KD

Delivered in the week of Aug 30.

330g of green sauerkraut, traditionally fermented.

Green cabbage fermented with caraway, nettle, spirulina and chlorella. The algae are what make it green rather than pale — and the fermentation is what makes it sour, as the cultures convert the cabbage's own sugars into lactic acid.

Good to know.

Our kitchen

  • Dedicated and zero-gluten — no shared ovens, no shared flour, no shared air.
  • No refined sugar and no seed oils in anything we make.

Keeping it

  • Keep it refrigerated and eat it within a few days. Nothing we cook contains preservatives, so it will not last the way a supermarket ready meal does.

Questions.

Is it gluten-free?

Almost everything on this shelf is — our kitchen is dedicated and has never handled wheat. The three fresh pasta dishes are the exception. They are made with wheat pasta in a separate building, they carry a Contains gluten label on the shelf and on their own page, and they are not suitable for coeliac disease. Anything without that label is gluten-free.

How do I heat it?

Most sides take about a minute in a lightly oiled pan, or a couple of minutes in the oven. Sauces, dressings and anything with live cultures should not be heated at all — the instructions on this page say which is which.

How long does it keep?

Keep it refrigerated and eat it within a few days. Nothing we make contains preservatives.

Can I add sides to a meal plan?

Yes. Sides are ordered separately from a plan and delivered alongside it on the same run.

Are the sauces dairy-free?

Most of them, but not all. Check the diet line under the price on each one — our vegan cheeses and dressings are built on cashew, coconut and nutritional yeast rather than dairy.

When will it arrive?

We deliver across Kuwait between 2 and 10 PM, alongside the rest of your order.
